PPDA ACT AMMENDED

The Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority  Act,  (PPDA Act, 2003) has been amended  to;

1. Provide for the functions of the Authority and of the Board of Directors of the Authority;
2. Provide for electronic records and communication
3. Provide for the aggregation of procurement requirements
4. Provide for marginalized groups under reservation schemes
5. Remove the Authority from the administrative review process
6. Provide for the appointment of a registrar of a Tribunal
7. Provide for the powers of the High Court in procurement proceedings and,
8. Amend the Kampala Capital City Act and the Local Governments Act with respect to procurement and for related purposes
