Evaluation Committee Roles

An Evaluation committee is adhoc, not permanent and is based on the procurement transaction being evaluated based on the competency, skills and knowledge. The names are forwarded by the PDU to the contracts committee for approval as the case may require.

  • Evaluate the bids using the criteria stated in the solicitation documents.
  • Prepare Evaluation Report
  • Recommend in the report which bidder should be awarded the contract
  • Maintain confidentiality throughout the process
