FRAUD ALERT: PPDA has noted with concern, correspondences circulated online via email, websites, and social media, falsely stating that those correspondence are issued by, or in association with the PPDA or the tender/contract awarding authorities of the Government of Uganda.

On Wednesday 18th August 2021, members of the Board of Directors and Management of the PPDA met His Excellency the President Museveni at State House Entebbe. Led by the Board Chairperson, Julius K. Ishungisa and the ED Benson Turamye, the members briefed the President on a range of issues and how the Authority is applying its mandate to ensure that Public Procurement delivers national development .
The President expressed appreciation for the significance of Public Procurement in social economic transformation of the country. He urged the team to accord the requisite support to investors, and to ensure that major national infrastructure projects are implemented without undue delays.
The President also accepted to hold regular meetings with the PPDA as a key player in the realization of the development initiatives of the country.
