Providers Suspended from Participating in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Proceedings

The following providers are suspended from participating in Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Proceedings.

  • Providers suspended by international agencies to which Uganda is a member in accordance with Section 128 (b) of the PPDA Act Cap 205.

  • Providers recommended for suspension by different Local and Central Government Procuring and Disposing Entities in accordance with Section 128 of the PPDA Act Cap 205. The duration and breaches are indicated in Table 2 below:

The Authority advises that:

  • Award contracts to the suspended companies;
  • Sell or issue solicitation documents to the suspended companies or in any way solicit bids from them; and
  • Enter into any other dealings or communication with the suspended companies except in respect to existing contracts placed prior to the suspension.

Suspended Providers

This page provides information on providers restricted from participating in public procurement and disposal proceedings under the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 (the Act).

Scope of Restrictions

The restrictions apply to two categories of providers:

  1. Providers suspended or debarred by international agencies of which Uganda is a member, including the Asian Development Bank, World Bank , African Development Bank, and Islamic Development Bank, in accordance with Section 128(b) of the Act; and
  2. Providers recommended for suspension by Local and Central Government Procuring and Disposing Entities, in accordance with Section 128 of the Act.
