The Department of Legal and Board Affairs is composed of the following units:
- Legal
- Advisory
- Management Advisory Committee Secretariat
- Board Affairs
The Department is responsible for the following activities:
- Preparing, updating and issuing authorized versions of Standard Bidding Documents (SBDs), procedural forms and any other attendant documents to PDEs;
- Providing legal guidance related to procurement and disposal;
- Handling deviations from the use of the SBDs, procedural forms and any other attendant documents is effected only after approval;
- Preparing guidelines for the public procurement and disposal system;
- Providing Board secretarial and support services; and
- Handling accreditation applications and suspension of providers.
