IPPU Management


The Council is the governing board of the Institute and is responsible for making policies for the Institute, while the Secretariat will carry out the day to day management.

A full-time Secretariat is headed by an Executive Secretary who is responsible for the management of the day-to-day activities of the Institute. The secretariat is currently located on plot 39 Nakasero Road, PPDA Home. As IPPU activities increase, the need to recruit more staff will have to be addressed.

IPPU Council Members

IPPU is governed by an interim council that was elected in May 2008 as the governing body of the Institute. The council membership is drawn from various stakeholders in the procurement and Supply management profession in Uganda including representatives from PPDA, MoFPED and Private sector professionals and practitioners.
