E-Learning Procurement System Launched

Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Authority (PPDA) has launched the Public Procurement and Disposal E-Learning System.

The system is to enhance Training and Capacity Building mandate of PPDA to reach out to government Procuring Entities, Internal and External Stakeholders.

Speaking at the official launch of the E- learning system, the Director Capacity Building and Advisory Services at PPDA  Mr. Moses Ojambo noted that the E-Learning system is a quick and cost effective for improved knowledge dissemination on public procurement and Disposal process.

PPDA will use the E- Learning system to reach a wide range of stakeholders including Accounting Officers, Procurement Officers, Contracts Committee members, User Departments in government ministries, departments and agencies, political leaders, providers/contractors, civil society organizations, institutions of higher education, media among others.

The system was officially launched by Mr. John Mitala the Head of Public Service at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.
